Our Week...

We had a wonderful visit last week with Oma.  We went on long walks, worked in the garden, and ate delicious Indian and German food (Mommy's favorites).  Dad had to go out of town to work in California for a few days, so it was nice to have her with us.  The kids love her and really missed her when she had to go.  Lily kept asking where Oma was after she left.  Here are some pictures of our time with her.

Sarah also did a research project on Jim Thorpe for her 4th grade class.  They had all of the research boards on display in the gym at her school one afternoon.  We got some cute pictures of her showing it to us.

Saturday Sarah and her fellow Jefferson Joggers finished the last 1.2 miles of 26.2 for the Kids Med City Marathon.  She ran 25 miles over the past 2 months and then fished it by running the last 1.2 with around 500 kids from Rochester area schools.  It was awesome.  She got a medal and some cute pictures with her fellow runners and Mrs. Holcomb the coach.

It was a fun week.
